Central Park

The Central Park in Skopje Macedonia is one of the most popular and the biggest park in Macedonia. In the park usually there are a lot people and kids. A lot of people go to relax from work, on a picnic, or to play with their kids. In the park there is a playground, climbing ground so that the kids can have fun. Also, there’s a lake that poured in the biggest river in Macedonia Vardar. In the park there is a tennis club where you can rent a field and play tennis.

In the centre of the park there’s a stage called “школка” where a lot of concerts are getting performed.

Just out of the park there’s the National stadium where the National team of Macedonia plays competitions. In the stadium there are Popular shops for clothing and electronics.

And in the park there are small shops that sell ice-cream and juices on the hot days.

Homework

The Skopje city park, is the biggest city park in Macedonia. It started forming around the 19th century. There aren't many things to do there, but its quite pleasant taking a walk or riding a bike there.

There are coffee shops but they are only to-go and they are hosted in trailers.

There is a lake where you can go fishing, but if you catch a fish you must release it, or you will get fined. You also need to pay for a license, but i heard its quite cheap.

Sometimes there are events that are hosted there, last event that i went to that was hosted there, was a music event where they played the music that was in older cartoons.

That's all i could think of, but if you want a quiet and pleasant stroll in a park i recommend you visit it!

A trip to Macedonia

The Ohrid Lake is the deepest lake in the Balkans. It is 938 feet (286 meters) deep. It is also the oldest lake in Europe, being around four million years old.

Wine is one of the most purchased drinks in the country. One of the best wine companies are “Vranec”,  “Kratoshija” & “T’ga Za Jug”.  Wine is delicious and something people would highly recommend you try.

Skopje is the capital of Macedonia. Though, it doesn’t have that much luck with earthquakes. Skopje has been hit by two massive earthquakes. The first one was in 1963 magnitude 6,1. It destroyed 80% of the city and killed more than 1,070 people.
